An update

Well, I've done the major part of the editing on Part Two of The Book of Drachma (Coaptation). And let me tell you that I went back and forth in my own mind, but finally decided to end Part Two at the end of Chapter Forty Two. This move changes the original idea of the book as a whole, but it really is a more satisfying ending, and makes for an easy transition into Part Three. Now the Chapters will be numbered one through Twenty Two, with no epilogue for Part Two. It will be somewhat longer than Part One (around 91,000 words), but still less than Part Three.

Also, I've completed an epilogue to The Book of Drachma, which I do believe it needed, after the heaviness of the final few chapters. It has the effect of tying up some loose ends, and also brings back into the narrative some elements of my original design.

And let me tell you, that from the perspective of the author, as well as the feedback from my few readers - Part Two will be better than Part One, and Part Three even better yet.

An update

This is to let you know, dear and faithful readers, just what is happening in the world of Drachma and the publishing empire.

Laminar Flow, The Book of Drachma, Part One is now available, as noted, via the publisher's web site (tatepublishing.com), under books, then either search by author or title. But the bigger news is that a date has been set of March 27th, 2012 for the book to go public, on Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble and other national distributors. Now, if you want it in your local bookstores, you may want to make some noise about that time, as bookstores only want to sell books that they think their public will buy. It will be available both as a real book, and also available as an ebook.

And lastly, I want to tell you that I'm still working on the sequel, and should have the next chapter online by either this weekend on by Monday.

An update

My dear readers,

This is just a brief note, to let you in on what's happening with The Book of Drachma. We have gone through the phases of editing, and the choosing of the cover, to the point where I received a copy of the book for my final perusal, and a final fix of any typos. Though I don't yet know a release date, it should be relatively soon that you'll be seeing Laminar Flow, The Book of Drachma, Part One nationwide. It will also be available through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other national distributers, and you may even download an (abridged) audio version.

This same process will be repeated with Part Two (Coaptation) and Part Three (Turbulence and Restoration). And, of course , I'm working on the sequel(s).

So, even though I haven't been posting very reliably, I'm still working.
